Review of St Peter's PSS - Bereavement Services written by a friend
24th September 2016

I had many sessions with Delise who helped me after my daughter died. I am unable to thank her enough for her kindness and understanding. I honestly don't know how I would have coped with life had it not been for her. A dear friend was a patient of Dr Peter's and I visited after. I would be very happy if I had to spend my last days there. The care is wonderful, I'm unable to think of anything that could be improved my thanks.

I felt very over wrought by the whole thing and two nurses turned up, and at the time they felt like a gift from God. They took over and saw to my husband when I needed them the most, will always be very grateful.

The bereavement counselling sessions that I had with Christine were so helpful to me. Not only did we discuss in depth strategies to deal with the loss of my sister, but we also addressed low self esteem and confidence issue I have had. She came up with good ideas, related my experiences to other peoples and sometimes her own which made them seem normal! Always informal, relaxed and up-beat but thoughtful, I have come away with much more knowledge of how to cope and move forward.

Real times could be more flexible for me. Too early to wake up and get ablutions etc done.
